How often have you wished you could say no to social engagements because you want time alone? Why does it seem like a lame excuse yet a deadline is seen as perfectly acceptable, as though work trumps all else.
Is this an issue in the East or just in our reality TV and celebrity loving culture?
As someone who craves time alone now and again to get back my sanity, it was wonderful to hear about Susan Cain’s book, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking.
This is definitely my next book purchase. And if it is as moving as her Ted Talk it will be worth the wait.
